I have always been interested in learning about foods, including the history of how they have been used and produced over the years. This includes both whole foods and ready-made foods. I previously worked in the quality control and research and development laboratory of a baked goods factory before I decided to pursue dietetics. My time in the lab taught me a lot and enhanced my interest in food science. This experience and my love for nutrition led me to want to write a blog about different types of foods. Periodically, I will post blogs about a specific foods. I will discuss their history over time, benefits, cons (if any) as well as suggestions of how to cook or eat the item.
