High fibre coconut berry breakfast bowl

(Estimated based on use of oat milk and blueberry-raspberry mix – 350 calories, 8.5 grams protein, 4.6 grams omega 3 fats and 10.8 grams of fibre)

Some mornings when I feel like I nutritious boost, I quickly mix up this high fibre, coconut berry breakfast bowl. Not only is it high in fibre, omega 3s and protein it also keeps me full for hours. Preparation time: 5 minutes plus 5-10minutes standing time (optional)


1/2 cup preferred liquid (milk, oat milk, water, nut milk, etc)

1 tbsp shredded coconut

1/2 tbsp ground flax

2 tbsp hemp seeds or

2 tbsp chia seeds

1/2 cup preferred berries

Optional – tbsp of your favourite sweetener (I prefer maple syrup or golden syrup)


In a bowl, add your chosen liquid. Lately I have been using oat milk for a change.

Mix in hemp seeds, chia seeds, flax, coconut and optional sweetener. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until chia seeds have expanded absorbing the liquid.

Add berries and enjoy!
